Meet Dr. Chi Mba, DDS
Dr. Chi Mba is a compassionate dentist with a commitment to treating people the same way she wants to be treated. Because of her personal fear of going to the dentist, she is able to better serve her patients by providing dental services in a friendly, relaxing and comfortable environment. In order to help alleviate anxiety, she explains dental procedures to her patients before they undergo any treatment.
Dr. Mba graduated Magna Cum Laude from Houston Baptist University. With an intense interest in science, she enrolled in the Biochemistry PhD program at Baylor College of Medicine. She then discovered her desire to help people, and this led to a career as a college professor. During her teaching career, she realized her sincere interest in pursuing a profession that would truly help make a direct contribution to humanity. This realization led her to the field of dentistry.
After graduating with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) from Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry Dallas with honors in clinical dentistry, Dr. Mba began working as a family dentist. She knew immediately that dentistry was her passion. As a Christian, wife and mother of five children, she enjoys taking good care of people.
Dr. Mba’s ongoing pursuit of continuing education allows her to stay abreast of the latest advances in dentistry. She is also a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) ,the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and the Texas Dental Association (TDA), and she is currently seeking fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry.
Integrity is very important to Dr. Mba. She truly cares about the needs of her patients. She is dedicated to sitting down with her patients and connecting with them on a personal level. Dr. Mba is more than a dentist: she is also a friend.
